Miguel Caloca is an Associate Attorney at Espinoza Law Group, where he represents clients in both workers’ compensation and immigration matters with professionalism, compassion, and dedication. He brings a strong foundation of legal experience and a lifelong commitment to serving working families and immigrant communities.

Miguel earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Chapman University in 2018 and his Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law in 2021. He successfully passed the California Bar Exam on his first attempt and was admitted to practice law on December 1, 2021. During law school, Miguel was an active member of the Moot Court team, competing in both regional and national tournaments—earning a third-place finish at the national level. He also gained hands-on experience through the University of La Verne’s Immigration Law Clinic, where he represented detained clients before the immigration court. These experiences strengthened his advocacy skills and deepened his commitment to protecting the rights of those facing difficult legal challenges.

The son of Mexican immigrants, Miguel has a personal understanding of the struggles many of his clients face. He witnessed firsthand the challenges his own father endured in a workers’ compensation case after decades of dedicated labor, an experience that continues to drive Miguel’s passion for justice. His personal background and professional experience allow him to approach every case with empathy, persistence, and a sincere desire to make a difference in his clients’ lives.
